Direct Line Group Voluntary Review To Identify Overcharges and Ensure Redress
Direct Line Group has agreed to a voluntary review of its motor and home insurance pricing rules, with the purpose of identifying any issues relating to overcharges to customers. This marks the first time that a formal voluntary requirement has been made to a firm in relation to these pricing rules. Affected customers will be contacted directly, and there is no need for them to take any action themselves at this point. If any instances of overcharging are identified as a result of the review, Direct Line Group will provide appropriate redress.
