FINRA Foundation Announces Three New Members to Board of Directors, Including Executive Vice President Jonathan Sokobin as Chair

The FINRA Investor Education Foundation has announced the appointment of four new members to its Board of Directors, including Jonathan Sokobin as Chair. Sokobin, who is also the Executive Vice President and Chief Economist at FINRA, will lead the Board in overseeing the operations of the FINRA Foundation.

In addition to Sokobin, the other new members of the Board include Jason Fichtner of the Bipartisan Policy Center, Ellen Frawley of GMMB, and Paul Roye, a retired Senior Vice President of Capital Research & Management Co. These individuals bring a wealth of experience and expertise in areas that align with the FINRA Foundation's mission to empower Americans with the knowledge and skills to make sound financial decisions.

Sokobin has a long history of collaboration with the FINRA Foundation, having worked extensively on research projects and outreach programs focused on promoting financial literacy. As Chair, he will work closely with the other Board members to support the FINRA Foundation's efforts in helping investors and promoting market integrity.
