SECOND CHANCE: Take Advantage of FINRA's MQP Enrollment Period!

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) launched the Modernized Qualifications Program (MQP) in 2022 to provide individuals who had terminated their FINRA registrations with a flexible path back into the industry. In order for individuals in the program to maintain their qualifications, they must complete annual Continuing Education (CE) requirements throughout the five-year period. Since launching the program, nearly 20,000 participants have enrolled, including more than 3,300 during the second enrollment period where individuals who terminated their registration between March 15th, 2020 and March 14th, 2022 are eligible. There has already been a successful transition rate of 900 individuals from MQP enrollees to FINRA registered employees. Eligible individuals can enroll in the MQP and monitor their CE requirements through their Financial Professional Gateway (FinPro) account, eliminating the need to retake the qualification exams upon returning to a member firm.
